Hi - I am Jenn!

Hi!  

I am Jenn Hawley.  

This is my fourth year teaching as an elementary teacher.  I started in the Grand Rapids area as a substitute teacher and then a STEM/technology teacher.  In my third year, I was hired with Traverse City Schools as a split support teacher in grades 2 and 3.  This year, I am starting my first, full-time, "normal" teacher job in Traverse City with grade 5.  

I earned my Bachelor's Degree from GVSU and was a thrower on the track and field team throughout.  

As a job, I became a dog trainer and still am active with my certification.  

On the side, I enjoy baking sweet treats, taking pictures, enjoying nature and kayaking in the beautiful Michigan waters.

I decided to pursue Educational Technology as my Masters because a good friend recommended it to me and after I researched it, I agreed.
